MIDWEST TITLE CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19 BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLAN
Midwest Title is taking careful action to ensure the health and safety of our clients and employees during this time of social distancing. While changes to our normal business processes are necessary as a result of COVID-19, our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) provides for uninterrupted service of the real estate title needs of our clients. The executive team continues to monitor developments, recommendations and guidance from public health officials and is poised to make fluid adjustments to our plan as needed.
The majority of our team will begin working remotely from home beginning March 23, 2020. Phone and email systems will function as normal during this time. All sale and refinance closings will proceed as scheduled across all offices. A closing officer will provide directions to all parties in advance of the closing day and will be onsite at our office location to complete the signing. We will meet with buyers and sellers at separate times to allow for cleaning and disinfecting of the common use area. We will conference realtors, attorneys and lenders in by phone or web meeting, as necessary.
Remote online notary legislation has been passed in the State of Wisconsin. Once the software technology is developed and available we will be ready to serve our clients in that capacity.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Our team is committed to serving our clients and their title needs as we navigate this time together.
Please contact the office by phone if you need to schedule a time to meet with a member of our staff in person at our title office.
